Emmy Nominations Announced: HBO Dominates Drama Category

The Television Academy has released the nominations for the 75th annual Emmy Awards, and HBO is the clear frontrunner in the drama category. Four of the network's shows - "Succession," "Euphoria," "The White Lotus," and "House of the Dragon" - are competing for the prestigious Outstanding Drama Series award.

Other nominees in the category include "Better Call Saul" (AMC), "Ozark" (Netflix), "Severance" (Apple TV+), "Stranger Things" (Netflix), and "Yellowstone" (Paramount Network).

In the comedy category, "Ted Lasso" (Apple TV+) is the defending champion and is nominated once again. Other nominees include "Abbott Elementary" (ABC), "Barry" (HBO), "Curb Your Enthusiasm" (HBO), "Hacks" (HBO Max), "Only Murders in the Building" (Hulu), "Reservation Dogs" (FX), "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" (Amazon Prime Video), and "What We Do in the Shadows" (FX).

The Emmy Awards will be presented on September 12th at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
