Wrestler Bill Goldberg and Former Teammate Deion Sanders Reunite in Colorado
Former teammates Bill Goldberg and Deion Sanders have reunited in Colorado, 30 years after they played football together at the University of Miami.
Sanders is now the head coach of the University of Colorado Buffaloes football team, while Goldberg's son, Gage, is a freshman wide receiver for the team.
Goldberg said he is excited to see Sanders coaching his son and that he believes Sanders will be a great mentor for him.
"Deion is a great coach and a great person and I am excited to see what he can do with Gage," Goldberg said. "I know that Gage is going to learn a lot from him."
Sanders said he is also excited to be reunited with Goldberg and that he is looking forward to coaching his son.
"Bill is a great friend and a great father and I am excited to be able to coach his son," Sanders said. "I know that Gage is going to be a great player and I am looking forward to helping him reach his potential."
Goldberg and Sanders were teammates on the Miami Hurricanes football team from 1983 to 1985. They helped the Hurricanes win the national championship in 1983.
After college, Goldberg went on to become a professional wrestler, while Sanders went on to become a professional football player. Sanders was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011.
